SparkMacon makerspace has designed a series of workshops to connect you with the essential technology skills of inventing using computer programming, digital fabrication, and robotics. \u00a0\u00a0Through this workshop\u00a0series, our students will gain exposure to STEAM skills including coding, <a href=\"http:\/\/inspiredtoeducate.net\/inspiredtoeducate\/3-tutorials-on-3d-modelling-with-tinkercad-com\/\">3D modeling<\/a>, 3D printing, <a href=\"http:\/\/inspiredtoeducate.net\/inspiredtoeducate\/loving-laser-cutting-and-engraving\/\">laser cutting<\/a>, and robot building. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parents and kids are invited to take this workshop together. \u00a0It\u2019s a great family activity! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Student registration for the series includes a complete <a href=\"http:\/\/www.makeblock.cc\/mbot\/\">mBot robotics kit from Makeblock.cc<\/a>. \u00a0It&#8217;s a fun kit to build and packed with features. \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Register today for this workshop at<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sparkmacon.com\/calendar\/\">SparkMacon.com<\/a> .<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/chkpweFx6G4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Series Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Month 1: May 21 &#8211; Coding:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Programming is a central skill to digital fabrication, robotics, and all subject domains. During this session, students will be given a crash course in computer science, gaining a basic understanding of sequencing, looping, and variables.
